What do you get when two of the loveliest people plan a wedding? One heck of a party, that’s what. The non-traditional, traditional ceremony and reception took place at the Marvimon house in Downtown Los Angeles. It was a beautiful backdrop for what was a sunny, warm spring day. The bride was absolutely stunning in her lace gown, which tied in perfectly with the vintage theme of the day. After the ceremony, we were able to steal the bride and groom away for some photos in a park full of wildflowers with the LA skyline not too far in the distance. This is such a special time for the couple to escape for a moment to really enjoy the first moments of being married. Back at the reception, adorned in succulents and pink peonies were wooden block centerpieces, which were actually old factory molds for mexican candy (so clever!). Guests dined on traditional mexican fare, and Sprinkles cupcakes instead of wedding cake. Mariachis, Los Pistoleros, and a DJ kept the party going into the early morning. It was a magical day and one that we will not soon forget. Thanks Mike and Jess for letting us be a part of your big day. enjoy.
