A week ago my dear friend Lauren and her husband Brian welcomed their brand new baby girl, Kameron, into the world. Not only was it an exciting event for them, but also for big brother Landon, who was instantly smitten with his new sister (as were we all). I had never done a hospital photo shoot before, and with all new experiences, was slightly nervous. But I have to say that documenting real life events as they happen naturally gives me an unreal level of excitement. Like with weddings, getting to be a fly on the wall to observe moments, personalities, and relationships is a really special thing and from each shoot I take a little something away.
