This past weekend, I met up with Michael and Shawna at a bar very close to their hearts. A place where you can get a quick drink and enjoy a local’s atmosphere while celebrating your 21st birthday, or even shoot some of your engagement photos (Shawna has now done both). I thought it was a brilliant idea and brought out so much of their personality as a couple. We then headed off to an abandoned ghost town where many television shows and movies have been shot, along the way picking up their sweet dog Tori. I loved the rustic feel of this day and how it will contrast so nicely with their wedding photos that I will shoot in Laguna Beach this summer. enjoy!
