I don’t know about you, but I am SO ready for summer to be over. This week I was finally able to turn the AC off, open the windows and make pumpkin coffee in my french press to drink throughout the day. I have also been bookmarking tons of soup recipes that I can’t wait to try and of course lots of roasted meats and veggies. But with all my ranting about it being too hot, and my desire for all things fall…I really did have a pretty incredible summer.
Shooting portrait sessions at the beach is always a lot of fun and gets me to the coast where the weather is cool enough to bear. I had such a great time with these two nearly a month ago as we walked along the Santa Monica boardwalk and talked wedding planning and their move to Hawaii (Michael will be stationed there for the Coast Guard). I also found out that Michael is an avid surfer and Paige is a budding Interior Designer, which she is currently finishing up her degree in. I’m so excited to get to know them more over the next year and shoot their big day in June! enjoy.
