The days of blogging regularly are coming back! I’m kicking it off with Rebekah and Jon’s downtown Los Angeles Engagement. Since these two are getting married next year in Mexico we wanted a location that tied in Mexican colors and culture, and where better than historic Olvera Street? It’s truly one of my favorite locations in Southern California, not just for photos, but for taking in the sights and sounds that are quintessential Los Angeles. From the street vendors to people dancing to live music near the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, you are transported to another time and place. Rebekah and Jon also brought their baby, Roger, since he is such a huge part of their lives and his personality was so fun. I just really loved spending the afternoon with these guys and look forward to all my 2017 bride’s and groom’s engagements in the next few months! I am still booking 2017 Los Angeles Weddings, Orange County Weddings, and Destination Weddings, for all inquiries email me directly at enjoy!downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0002downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0003downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0004downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0005downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0006downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0007downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0008downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0009downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0010downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0011downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0012downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0013downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0014downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0015downtown_los_angeles_engagement_0016

Fall Mini Sessions were announced last week on my Facebook and Instagram (@erickagphoto) and I only have ONE spot remaining! If you do not already follow me on Instagram that is probably the best way to get the most up to date shoot info and view my latest work. Here is a recent session with one of my favorite families (our weekly play buddies) and I look forward to all of the new and returning clients I get to photograph this year! Sessions are not only limited to families, but are great for couples as well! This year I am shooting Claremont Mini Sessions and Pasadena Mini Sessions and may include one more day due to high demand of people who can’t make those dates. For more information email me at

From the time he first saw her in the employee cafeteria at Google, Cameron knew there was something special about Sophia. After sharing a meal these two hit it off right away and the rest is history. With their two Corgis in tow, they said their vows overlooking the valley from the top of Beverly Hills at Tree People wilderness park. Family flew in from all over the country, and world, to witness this beautiful event, and what will be the first of two weddings for the couple (the next will take place in Japan in October). From Beverly Hills we headed to Santa Monica for a quaint reception at the raved about Tar & Roses. Great food, wine, and words were shared among old and new friends and I was thankful to be a part of it. Enjoy!
