Marc and Ann-marie; A chef and a mixologist/entrepreneur fell in love and shared their day with me this June in Pasadena. I’m not sure if it’s the mutual love for food, cocktails and baseball that made this couple so perfect for me to shoot, or the fact that they are the total package power couple with awesome chemistry. Either way, when I walked into her suite at the Langham Hotel and saw that dress, I knew it was going to be a good day. From getting ready at the Langham Hotel in San Marino to the beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Dominics in Eagle Rock, to the gorgeous reception Imperial Palace in Pasadena, the day was full of beautiful moments that I had such fun capturing. Ann-marie comes from a Sicilian family and the day was rich with Italian tradition and dancing (which I ultimately got pulled into..cameras and all!). The hospitality from both families was something special and made everyone feel part of the family during this joyous occasion.

Within a month of getting married, Ann-Marie opened a Zagat rated restaurant in Los Angeles that is getting rave reviews!  I think it just might be the perfect date night excuse very soon. enjoy!

Today I looked (like really looked) at the calendar and came to realize that 2015 is already more than half over! Where does the time go? Booking weddings for 2016 seemed so far removed from my brain until I began filling up dates as of late. I’m also excited to announce that I will be opening my calendar up for more availability next year. 2015 has and will continue to be a busy year for me both personally (hello second baby!) and professionally (hello lots of weddings and portrait sessions!) and I look forward to adding more next year. With that said, you may be wondering what I offer my brides and grooms? Not only do I offer a la carte services I also offer three all-inclusive collections for those wanting to make it easy on themselves while getting a pretty great deal. Here’s what’s included:

Mike and Kathryn wed in the middle of a beautiful walnut grove on the grounds of the Tierra Rejada Ranch in Moorpark last month. From beginning to end this day was just perfectly wonderful, and full of some of the most genuine, and happy people. It was no wonder I went home that night with a huge smile on my face! Not only are these two super smart and accomplished but they have a great sense of humor (incorporating comic props into their formal photos). Kathryn is also a lighting director for Dreamworks, so you can imagine the endless creative ideas they had sprinkled throughout their reception. Like the mason jars of legos to keep guests busy during dinner and the origami cranes behind the head table (an ode to her Japanese heritage), or the perfectly pieced-together lego monogram. Not to leave Mike out, who hand-crafted many of the personalized decorations such as the frames that held guests’ place cards. I am such a fan of this couple and wish them the happiest days ahead. Enjoy!

Elizabeth and Ryan are getting married later this year in Pasadena and wanted to celebrate their engagement by shooting around Old Town Pasadena and the famous Colorado Street bridge. Very fitting for a couple that met in grad school studying architecture! These two were so fun to get to know and Elizabeth’s style is  so classy and elegant. I can’t wait to see what her wedding dress looks like in November. enjoy!
